While you might be putting off cleaning your home due to it being time-intensive and tedious, it doesn’t have to be. Even a thorough cleaning of your home can be done in just 30 minutes. In this article, we will be going over how to speed clean your home in 30 minutes or less.

What You Need:

1. Hardwood Floor Cleaner
2. Bathroom Cleaner
3. Toilet Cleaner
4. Glass Cleaner
5. Paper Towels
6. Handheld Vacuum Cleaner
7. Sponge
8. Dish Soap
9. Vinegar

Bathrooms

When you are looking to clean your bathrooms, you will want to get all of the needed supplies ready. Ideally, you want to streamline the process by cleaning all of your bathrooms consecutively. That way, you can speed the entire process up considerably.

Step 1:

Clean the counters of all of your bathrooms at once. This will allow you to give time for the counters to dry when you move on to the second step to clean the toilets. Be certain you have disinfectant spray and/or wipes with you during this process.

Step 2:

Clean mirrors with glass cleaner or a homemade vinegar solution. You will want to wipe down all of the mirrors in each of your bathrooms at once. This will help you expedite the process and get everything clean as fully dried as fast as possible.

Step 3:

Wait to clean the floors when you are cleaning the other floors in your home.

Kitchen

When you are moving onto your kitchen, you want to get all of the supplies needed. Your kitchen is likely one of your biggest rooms which means you should account for more time with it.

Step 1:

Get rid of the clutter. If you have dirty dishes, get rid of them. You can throw the dirty dishes and utensils into your dishwasher.

Step 2:

Clean the stovetop. If you have a glass stovetop, use an all-purpose cleaner. If your stove has removable burners, remove them and place them in soapy water.

Step 3:

Use a hot and soapy sponge and wipe down all of the surfaces on your counter-tops after you have cleared them. Along with this, you will want to wipe down all of the appliances and ensure they are completely dry to avoid stains.

Living Room

When you are looking to clean your living room, you will want to get rid of all of the clutter on the tabletops and along the floor. Put everything away in order to clear space to do further cleaning.

Step 1:

Get a duster and start to dust everything. You will want to dust the television, tabletops, and other furniture within the room. Along with this, you should be dusting the blinds, ceiling fans, and anything else that might have accumulated dust.

Step 2:

Vacuum the furniture. Be sure to lift cushions and vacuum underneath the cushions.

Time Required: 10mins

Bedrooms

Organisation is the key to having a clean bedroom

Step 1:

The first step is decluttering so start by grabbing a bin liner or any sort of plastic bag and put in any rubbish or items you no longer want

Step 2:

Put any dirty clothes into the laundry and hang up your clean clothes putting them in the closet

Step 3:

Take out the duster and dust the surfaces of any vanities, bedside lamps etc

Step 4:

Straighten up your blankets, sheets and pillows

Floors

It makes sense to save the floors for the end because crumbs and dust is likely to fall on the floors when you clean other areas of your home

Step 1:

Use a vacuum and it’s respective attachments to vacuum every floor in your home. You will want to vacuum everything including underneath your furniture to ensure that it is ready for a hardwood cleaning if you have hardwood.

Step 2:

Utilise hardwood floor cleaning solution. You will be able to mop each and every room that has hardwood at the same time which will allow you to get it done quickly.

By following the tips above, you should be able to give your home a thorough cleaning in under 30 minutes. By having all of the right materials and cleaning tools, you can expedite the cleaning process even further.
